Rapides Parish will see sunny skies and temperatures in the lower 90s through Friday before rain and thunderstorm chances increase Friday night and Saturday, according to the forecast.

Wednesday will be sunny with highs in the lower 90s and northeast winds of 5 to 10 mph. Wednesday night will be mostly clear with lows in the lower 60s. East winds around 5 mph in the evening will become light and variable.

Thursday will be sunny with highs in the lower 90s and northeast winds of 5 to 10 mph. Thursday night will be mostly clear with lows in the lower 60s and northeast winds around 5 mph.

Friday will be sunny with highs in the lower 90s. Friday night will be partly cloudy in the evening, then mostly clear with a chance of showers after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 60s, with a 30% chance of rain.

Saturday will be partly sunny with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the lower 80s, with a 50% chance of rain. Saturday night will be mostly cloudy in the evening, then become partly cloudy. Lows will be in the lower 60s.

Sunday through Columbus Day will be partly cloudy with highs in the upper 80s and lows in the mid 60s. Monday night will be mostly clear with lows in the mid 60s.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the lower 90s.
