Six new graduates of 96th Session of the Alexandria Regional Police Academy joined the ranks of Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office on May 15.

Over the last 13 weeks, these deputies were instructed in Louisiana Criminal Law and Traffic Law, de-escalation techniques, defensive tactics, firearms, Electronic Control Devices (Taser) among many other subjects to prepare them to go out and serve and protect the citizens of Rapides Parish.

Deputy Dalton Taylor and Deputy Andrew Evans.
