Memorial Services for Roger Glenn Phillips, 72, of Dry Prong, will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday, October 29, 2026 in the Magnolia Funeral Home Chapel at 7357 Masonic Drive in Alexandria, LA.

Mr. Phillips passed away, at his home in Dry Prong, LA on Thursday, October 22, 2026.

He was a native of the Rapides/Grant Parish and was a retired Truck Driver and U.S. Marine Corps Veteran.

Mr. Phillips is survived by his wife, Sandra Phillips – Pollock, LA. Stepson: Rodger Driggers and wife Sabrina of Mansura, LA. 2 Step-Daughters Tammy Aycock – Dry Prong, LA. And Dawn Long – Alexandria, LA. 7 Grandchildren, Brandon Lowe, Dustin Lowe, Tracy Allen, Katie Long, Sara Long, Dean Long and Tali Long along with 10 Great-Grandchildren.

He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, Camping and Lawn Mower Racing, anything 4 wheels.

During his time in Vietnam, He saw combat in which he did walk through the water like in the movies.
