Kim Jones Robertson, age 72, passed away on September 28, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, service, and devotion to family. A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, pharmacist, and friend, Kim touched countless lives through his kindness, generosity, and unmistakable personality.

Born and raised in Alexandria, Louisiana, Kim was a proud graduate of Bolton High School before attending Northeast Louisiana University, where he earned his degree in Pharmacy. He dedicated more than forty years of his life to serving others as a pharmacist, a profession that perfectly reflected his caring and compassionate nature. Throughout his career, Kim became a trusted advisor and friend to countless patients and customers. He concluded his distinguished career at Holloway Pharmacy, where he spent his final years working alongside his favorite coworker and dear friend, Brandon Willis. Kim was grateful to end his career surrounded by a community he loved and people who loved him in return.

Kim truly lived a life centered around helping others. His caring heart, welcoming spirit, and affectionate nature made everyone who met him feel valued and at home. He had an unforgettable sense of humor and was often the life of the party. While he proudly wore the badge of “grumpy old man” from time to time, those who knew him best knew that he loved deeply and wholeheartedly.

Following retirement, Kim embraced life’s many joys with enthusiasm. New Orleans held a special place in his heart. Whether attending Broadway productions at the Saenger Theatre, strolling through the French Quarter, or sharing a meal at his favorite restaurant, Irene’s, he always felt at home there. He often dreamed of one day calling Exchange Alley home, drawn to the culture, charm, and spirit of the city he loved so much. He loved football and fantasy football, cooking, gardening, music, concerts, and traveling to new places. He never met a po-boy he didn’t enjoy and took pride in being a true scotch connoisseur. He appreciated life’s comforts, including massages and pedicures, and somehow managed to make even grocery shopping an enjoyable pastime. A natural organizer with a Type A personality, Kim believed there was value in doing things the right way, and nothing made him happier than a perfectly pressed shirt.

Of all the things Kim loved, Christmas held a special place in his heart. More than the decorations or traditions, he treasured the opportunity to gather everyone he loved in one place. Family was always at the center of his life.

A Christian man of faith, Kim lived with compassion, generosity, and gratitude. His faith guided the way he treated others and the life he built alongside those he loved most.

Above all else, Kim cherished his wife, Rebecca “Becky” Daigle Robertson, the love of his life. Together they spent over a decade creating a life filled with laughter, adventure, and countless memories. Kim was welcomed into Becky’s family with open arms, and he embraced them as his own. The love they shared and the family they built together became one of his greatest blessings.

Kim was preceded in death by his parents, J.P. Robertson and Lily Faye Robertson; and his sister, Sharon Dorty.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife and soulmate, Rebecca “Becky” Daigle Robertson; his sister, Linda Lynch; his children, Clint Robertson and Jennifer Robertson James (Loren James); his children by marriage, Huey Daigle (Valerie) and Ashley Moreno (John Moreno); his grandchildren, Dylon VanHoof (Ashley), Kylee DuBois (Landon), Carsyn Robertson, Natalie Daigle, Abby Cutrer (Adam), Aiden Mathews (Meredith), Jolie Daigle, Samantha Moreno, Marlee Daigle, Adlih Moreno, Gabriella Moreno, and Christian Moreno; and his great-grandson, Ryker Scott VanHoof. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Though his family mourns his passing, they find comfort in remembering a man who loved fiercely, laughed often, welcomed everyone, and made every gathering better simply by being there. His legacy lives on in the family he adored, the friends he treasured, and the countless lives he touched through his kindness and service.

Love you, mean it.
