
Theodore (Ted) Joseph Charrier of Pineville, LA passed away September 07 2026 at the age of 83.
The Visitation for Mr. Ted will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:00 p.m. A second visitation will be held on Friday at Gallagher Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at Sacred Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Pineville at 12:30 p.m. with interment to follow at Greenwood Memorial.
He was preceded in death by his Father Dewey, Mother Helena, Sister Gladys and Nephew Bobby Boudreau.
He is survived by three sons. Mark Charrier of Edmond, OK, Jeff Charrier and wife Tina of Inola, Ok and Jason Charrier of Pineville. Five Grandchildren, Kyle Charrier, Cody Charrier and Wife Chloe, Rebecca Chupp and Husband Jacob, Hunter Charrier and Reagan, Meridian Charrier. Seven Great Grandchildren Cash, Colson, Rylee, Linley, Logan, Jayce, Jaynie. Nieces Roberta and Husband Bob Upton, Karen Vandersypen and Husband Charlie. Several great nieces and nephews.
Ted was born in Pineville, LA on November 03, 1942, to Dewey and Helena (Dupuy) Charrier of Pineville. He had one sister Gladys (Charrier) Boudreau. Ted AKA Rose, Chari from Parie, Uncle Ted retired after 37 ½ years working for Dresser Industries Building and testing valves. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time at the several camps he had over the years. His most enjoyable times were spent sitting under his shed behind his house with a good fire going in the fireplace, cooking for his friends and family and his annual pig roast. He was quick witted, often called people by Nicknames and had too many one liners to mention but one of his favorite,
” Every day is a holiday”
