
Rapides Parish District Attorney Phillip Terrell announced Aug. 25 that two defendants had been convicted and sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Brian Mequial Johnson was convicted of firearm possession by a convicted felon and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Charles “Chuck” Johnson.
Jvaughn Domnic Barnes was convicted of attempted second-degree murder and sentenced to 20 years in prison. The case was also prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Charles “Chuck” Johnson.
