Funeral services for Otis Wallace Wiley, 83 of Alexandria, LA will be held at Young’s Funeral Home in Jonesville at 2 PM on Thursday, August 13, 2026 with Pastor Timothy LeBlanc officiating. Internment will follow at Palo Alto Cemetery in Mayna under the direction of Young’s Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home in Jonesville before the service begins from 12 PM until 2 PM.

Otis was born on Wednesday, February 3, 1943 in Jonesville, LA. and passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2026 in Alexandria, LA. He lived a life marked by faith, service, hard work, and deep devotion to those he loved. As a faithful member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria, Otis served as desk captain of the ushers office, carrying out that responsibility with great pride. He especially treasured his prayer shifts in the prayer room, where he faithfully sought God for others. For more than forty years, Otis shaped young lives as a teacher. He was also a hardworking farmer and successful business owner, bringing dedication and integrity to every calling. Away from work, he enjoyed old cars, fishing, and traveling. He dearly loved his church family, but no love was greater than the love he held for his own family. Otis leaves behind a lasting example of faithfulness, wisdom, service, and love that will continue to inspire all who knew him well.

Those left to honor his memory are his children, Eddie Wiley and his wife Karen of Larto, LA, Rickey Wiley of Larto, La, Hollie Sanders and her husband Chris of Pineville, LA, and Casey Book and his wife Charlie of Woodworth, LA; grandchildren, Brandi Wiley (Ronnie) of Larto, LA, Meagan Folden (Daniel) of Jonesboro, LA, Katelyn Book (TY) of Fargo, ND, Laynie and Carson Sanders of Pineville, LA, Silton Book (Stormy) of Waco, TX, Braeden Book of Waco, Tx, Cullen Book of El Paso, TX, and Bella Book of Olla, LA; 10 great grandchildren; and he is also survived by his special friends, June Wiley Alexander , Jackie Polk, Marcus Perow, and his special family member, his cat Tiger.

Those honoring him as pallbearers will be Carson sanders, Jerry Clark, Paul Miller, Marcus Perow, and Mike Slater.
