The LSU of Alexandria Police Department welcomed new Dental Hygiene students during their orientation at the Allied Health Building in downtown Alexandria.

Sgt. Williams met with the students as they began their first day and took the next step toward their educational and professional goals.

The LSUA Police Department said its officers will continue to be present and engaged at the Allied Health Building throughout the semester to help foster a safe and supportive environment where students can focus on their education and future careers.
