Mary Ann Greiner, 94, of Alexandria, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 2, 2026, in her home.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bob” Greiner, Sr. and her parents, Joe and Lucy Costantino.

Mary Ann was born on March 13, 1932, in Alexandria, Louisiana. She will be remembered as a woman of deep faith whose devotion to the Catholic Church was evident throughout her life. She faithfully attended Mass several times each week alongside her beloved niece, Debbie Dove.

Mary Ann dedicated many years to serving her community through her work. She was employed at Weiss & Goldring, Wellan’s, and Gus Kaplan Clothing from 1982 until her retirement in 2002. Retirement, however, did not slow her down. She soon became an indispensable part of the family business, Roly Poly, where she worked for the next 22 years.

At Roly Poly, Mary Ann’s warm smile and kind spirit made everyone feel welcome. She delighted in greeting customers, handing out cookies to children, and brightening the day of everyone who walked through the door. Fondly known as “Mom” and “Queen Roly” by family, friends, coworkers, and loyal customers alike, she left a lasting impression on countless lives.

When she wasn’t at Roly Poly, Mary Ann found great joy in caring for her yard, where her love of landscaping and flowers reflected her hardworking nature and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures.

Those left to cherish her memory include her two sons, Robert “Bob” Greiner, Jr. and wife, Sharon, and Steve Greiner; four grandchildren, Taylor Greiner (RaChelle), Nick Greiner (Al), Paige Dauphine (Kyle), and Trevor Greiner; and three great-grandchildren, Caleb Michael Greiner, Ethan and Emalyn and extended family and friends.
