Graveside services for Mr. Lonnie Guinn Reese, Sr. will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mr. Reese, 81, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Saturday, August 1, 2026, in his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was a loving husband and father who always made people laugh with his great sense of humor. He enjoyed working on cars and loved collecting many different things. His collections were admired by everyone, especially his cherished Vaseline Glass collection. He will be remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the love he shared with his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Reese, Sr. and Lera Belle Reese; two brothers, Floyd Jr. and Jackie; and three sisters, Doris, Colene, and Lirlene.

Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Sandra Reese of Pineville; one son, Lonnie “J.R.” Reese, Jr. of Baytown, Texas; and one sister, Virginia Ward of Whitehouse, Texas.
