The City of Pineville is accepting submissions for the official 2027 Pineville Mardi Gras Poster.

Organizers are inviting local artists to create a design inspired by the city’s new logo while capturing the spirit of Mardi Gras in the community. Eligible entries should creatively incorporate elements of the new City of Pineville logo along with recognizable Pineville landmarks, downtown scenery or other features that represent the city.

The winning artist will receive a $250 cash prize and have their artwork featured throughout the 2027 Mardi Gras season.

Initial submissions must be a clear, high-quality sketch or digital draft in landscape orientation.

The contest is open to local artists, students and residents. The submission deadline is Nov. 1, 2026.

Digital entries may be emailed to mayor@pineville.net. Hand-drawn sketches may be dropped off at Pineville City Hall during regular business hours.
