The Rapides Parish Library recognized Mrs. June Arrington during this month’s Rapides Parish Library Board meeting as she retired from the library board after 10 years of service.

During her tenure, Arrington served as the Rapides Parish Library Board treasurer and supported the library system, its staff, patrons and the Rapides Parish community.

According to the library, Arrington remained engaged and committed to the continued growth of the Rapides Parish Library, with a focus on literacy, learning and public service.

The Rapides Parish Library Board, administration and staff thanked Arrington for her leadership, generosity and support and wished her well in her retirement.
