Woodworth Police Chief Brett Masters completes new chief management course

Woodworth Police Chief Brett R. Masters recently attended the Louisiana Law Enforcement Executive Management Institute (LEEMI) New Chief Management Course at the Louisiana State Police Joint Emergency Services Training Center.

The mandatory five-day course is required for all newly elected or appointed municipal chiefs of police in Louisiana and must be completed within one year of taking office.

The program provides training in leadership, administrative responsibilities, legal updates, and risk management to help chiefs effectively lead their agencies.

According to the Town of Woodworth, Chief Masters and the Woodworth Police Department remain committed to continuing education, professional development, and providing the highest level of service to the citizens of Woodworth.
