Journal staff taking a break for America’s 250th celebration
There’s a birthday party for all of us this weekend.
The United States of America turns 250 years old Saturday on Independence Day. The staff at the Rapides Parish Journal is getting a well-deserved break to celebrate the holiday beginning early, and as a result there will not be a Friday edition this week only.
We’ll be back early Monday morning online, publishing our free-to-everybody news, information and sports coverage that you count on.
