Mary Ruth Brady Deen, age 92, entered eternal rest on Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Lexington House in Alexandria, Louisiana.

Graveside services will be held at Mars Hill Cemetery on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Jeff Stroud officiating. Interment will follow at Mars Hill Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Eulas William Deen; parents, Samuel Lee Brady and Jewel Lebaron Brady; brother, Kenneth Brady; 2 sisters, Mabel Bullock and Opal Davidson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her son, Richard Deen and his wife Dana; grandchildren, Marshall Deen and his wife Alexis and Kayla Deen and Brandon Gagnard; and 8 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Deen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose life was marked by love, faith, and kindness. Her faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation on which she built her life. As a lifelong member of the Pentecostals of Alexandria, she faithfully served the Lord and cherished her church family. Mrs. Deen was deeply loved by her family and friends, and she will forever be missed.
