Rapides Parish Rainfall Report Shows Significant Totals in Alexandria and Pineville

Rainfall observers in Rapides Parish reported substantial precipitation over the past 24 hours, according to data collected through the Community Collaborative Rain, Hail and Snow Network (CoCoRaHS).

The Alexandria reporting station recorded 5.66 inches of rainfall, while the Pineville station measured 3.75 inches during the same reporting period. The reports provide localized rainfall totals from volunteer weather observers who submit daily measurements to the nationwide network.

The Parish Journals of Louisiana will continue to monitor and publish local rainfall data as it becomes available.
