Timothy Scott Francis a beloved husband, father, and grandfather entered eternal rest on June 2,2026 at Rapides Regional Hospital surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Scott was born on October 23, 1959, in Alexandria where he attended Bolton High School. Upon graduating he received his apprenticeship in plumbing followed by becoming a licensed plumber. While doing so he met the “sparkle in his eye” Denise Morgan, which he quickly changed to Denise Francis. Along with the love of his life, Scott enjoyed traveling, camping and fishing, but most of all he was known for his LSU purple and gold. There wasn’t a game he missed on T.V., radio, or in person of the Tigers from Tigerland. With the true tiger spirit Scott fought to the bitter end, I’m sure he is looking down on us right now smiling and shouting “GEAUX TIGERS!”
Scott is preceded in death by his father Clennon Ray Francis (Red), his mother, Rose Marie Clinton, stepfather Dr. Thomas Allan Clinton. One brother, Steen Bruce Francis.
Scott is survived by his wife of 33 years Denise Francis; two sons Sean Adams (Julie) of Ball, LA and James Adams (Shauna) of Kolin, LA; two daughters Laura Harvey (Britt) of Lecompte, LA and Chrissy Henrickle of Mandeville, LA. Stepmother Lena Kaufmann (Allen) of Slidell, LA; Sisters Ginger Kinsey (Chris) of Tyler, TX and Karen Turrentine (Wes) of Alexandria, LA, one brother Kevin Francis (Ashley) of Prairieville, LA. Grandchildren Kayla Adams (Evan) of Fifth Ward, LA, Gracie Harvey of Madisonville, LA, Charlie Bakies of Lecompte, LA, Chloe Adams of Kolin, LA, Bailey Henrickle of Mandeville, LA, William Henrickle of Mandeville, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, family, and friends that he loved very deeply.
