
Elaine Susan Rambo (nee McRee), 80, of Pineville, LA sadly left us to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 12, 2026.
Preceding her in death are parents Neville D. “N.D.” and Eleanore McRee, loving husband of 46 years, Robert W. Rambo, brother Andy McRee, daughters Christine Charrier and Sherrye Willbanks, grandson TJ Laborde, and great grandson Aiden Dyson.
Left to mourn her loss are her sister, Linda Troxler, and her children: sons, Richard Rambo and his wife Bridgette, Ryan Rambo and his wife Elizabeth; daughters, Dana Huddleston and husband Brian and Kimberly Echols; thirteen grandchildren, Jessica Wolford and wife Kim, Amanda Wolford, Chad Charrier and wife Beth, Scott Rambo and wife Tabbatha, Devin Rambo and wife Laci, Keith Rambo and wife Noel, Dustin Dyson, Nicholas Willbanks and wife Taylor, Justin Willbanks, Lauren King and Taylor Arnouville, Brett King, Regan Rambo, and Colby Huddleston; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Gavin and Logan Dyson, Richard Paul Rambo, Kylie Foster and her husband Zach, Emily Wolford, Tori Charrier, John and Matthew Rambo, Sir Robert Bentley and Raelynn Rambo, Elaina and Rhys Arouville.
Elaine was born on August 7, 1945 to Neville and Eleanore McRee. She met her soul mate and love of her life, Robert, in New Orleans, LA. Together, they shared six children – Christine, Richard, Sherrye, Kimberly, Ryan, and Dana.
Throughout her life, Elaine was the matriarch of the Rambo family. She loved the outdoors and was an avid hunter, angler, and gardener. She enjoyed date nights with Robert, playing all types of games, cooking and taking care of her family.
At 80 years old, she leaves behind a legacy of love, having touched the hearts of a large loving and adoring family, her extended family and friends at Paragon, and many, many others. Known for her strength, she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
