Kenneth Chester Ballard, 67, of Summit, MS, passed away April 13, 2026. He was born in Pineville, LA, November 6, 1959, to Chester Ballard and Lilly Mae Manuel.

Mr. Ballard was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed searching for arrowheads and playing on the creek with Gabriel and Madison. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with friends. He always had a story to tell.

He is preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Miriam Smith Ballard; daughter, Keely Ballard Adams; his parents; and sister, Karen Ballard.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Karly Jackson (Robert); brother, Gary Ballard; and two grandchildren, Gabriel Dyess and Madison Dyess.
