Catherine Greer McDaniel was born on April 20, 1959 in El Dorado, Arkansas. She passed away on April 10, 2026 in Alexandria, Louisiana.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mickey James McDaniel; father, Orville Paul Greer; mother, Nervie Lee Tyler; brothers, Orville Thomas Greer and Benjamin Randolph Greer and sisters, Barbara Ann Lafeuer and Brenda Kay Edge.

She is survived by her son, Danny Joe Britt and wife Shelli Britt of Leesville, LA; daughter, Karen Lee Britt of Oxnard, CA; grandsons, Alex James Reed, Kaden Fondon, Jeremy Lee Britt, Ethan Fondon, and Jackson Thomas Reed and niece Mary Beth Breed Love who cared for her Aunt Cathy so good.
