The Pineville Police Department issued a statement regarding recent social media posts and rumor that allege that four bodies were found wrapped up in Pineville. PPD declared the posts fake news and “100% false.”
There have been no bodies found, no cover-ups undertaken, and there is definitely not a serial killer on the loose.
PPD encourages citizens to take a second to fact-check or check their page or local media outlets before hitting “share.”
