APD arrest suspect, seize guns, drugs, cash on Starling Circle

The Alexandria Police officers followed up on a call in the 5800 block of Starling Circle on Tuesday, Sept. 2, at approximately 1pm. 

As a result of the investigation, officers arrested 24-year-old Martavius Lee. Lee was charged with:

  • Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
  • Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana 2 ½ lbs or more
  • Three counts of Possession of a Firearm in the Presence of Drugs

During the arrest, officers also seized three firearms and approximately $17,212 in cash.

Chief Chad Gremillion stated, “Every time we take guns and drugs off the streets, we’re making Alexandria a safer place for our families. This arrest is a clear example of the dedication our officers show each day in confronting dangerous situations head-on. We will continue to stand firm against those who choose to bring violence and illegal drugs into our community.”
