A federal grand jury in Shreveport has returned an indictment charging a man from Pineville with use of a facility to attempt to cause a minor to engage in criminal sexual activity, according to U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook.
Keith William Noce, 45, was indicted as a consequence of Operation Restore Justice, a nationwide initiative to locate and arrest child predators.
The indictment indicates that Noce allegedly used a means of interstate commerce to knowingly try to persuade a minor under the age of 18 to engage in sexual activity. This is allegedly to have happened between April 29 and May 1.
Noce and two other Louisiana suspects were charged last week following an operation by the FBI, Alexandria Police Department and Louisiana State Police, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Western District of Louisiana.
Noce could have a sentence of up to 10 years to life in prison and a fine of $250,000 if convicted.
