Rachal Wise, 36, may now hold a Rapides penal system record.

The Boyce woman is in lockup after her arrest Tuesday, with bond set at $100,009,999.

That’s not a typo. As of Wednesday evening she, surprise, had not posted the one hundred million nine thousand nine hundred and ninety-nine dollars, cash or bond.

Wise is accused of taking contraband into or out of a penal facility.

She also has six contempt of court counts, the origins of which are unspecified.

Perhaps Wise just ran into a frustrated duty judge.
