The 2023 Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Expo Showcases our Community!

An eclectic blend of over 60 vendors from throughout our community gathered together at the Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce’s 2023 Business Expo held Saturday, April 29 at the Randolph Riverfront Center in downtown Alexandria. The Expo is, in the words of Deborah Randolph, President of the Chamber, “designed to showcase local businesses and services…:”

The wide range of businesses included everything from financial services to resorts, advertising, medical, pest control, England Airpark, and a host of other goods and services. LSUA, Kisatchie National Forest, Louisiana State Parks, and CLTCC led a contingent of nonprofits and educational institutions. One could find a solution to virtually any business or educational need among the Business Expo’s exhibitors.

The family friendly event also featured a children’s activity area manned by members of Holy Savior Menard’s and Pineville High School’s Key Clubs where visiting youngsters could play, color, and do crafts while their parents enjoyed the Expo. The Kisatchie National Forest booth was also nearby with educational displays of animals and trees of the forest.

The Expo was truly a community effort with several groups performing and making presentations. The Bolton High School band and dancers performed a spirited concert. They were followed by the Peabody Magnet High School Choir who performed a series of patriotic pieces. Local EMS services demonstrated CPR and first aid. The emcee also featured many of the Expo exhibitors. Food trucks and booths served up coffee, beverages, and savory dishes.

The 2023 Central Louisiana Regional Chamber of Commerce was an excellent opportunity to network, make new friends and see the myriad of opportunities offered in our community. Shop local. Buy local. Support the local businesses that keep our community prosperous!
