Remembering Emma Sedotal Luneau

Memorial services for Mrs. Emma Sedotal Luneau will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. at Hixson Brothers Funeral Home with Father Albi Moluth officiating. Interment will be held in the St. Joseph #2 Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Marksville.

Mrs. Luneau, age 70, of Marksville LA., passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2023 in her residence with her family and priest around her. She is preceded in death by her infant son, John Raymond Luneau II; parents, Rudolph and Eugenie Hebert Sedotal; brothers, Morgan Sedotal, Dale Sedotal; sister, Jackie “Ping” Soreth.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, John Raymond Luneau; sons, Chad Luneau (Gretchen) of Youngsville, LA, Dusty Luneau (Lori) of Scott, LA, Lane Luneau (Deborah) of Covington, LA; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Luneau, Rachel Luneau, Sarah Luneau, Anna Luneau, Lily Luneau, Blair Luneau; 2 great grandchildren, Westley Luneau and Blakely Luneau.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home. Recitation of the Holy rosary will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel.

The family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all those who helped care for Emma during her time of need, especially to Dr. LJ Mayeux, his nurse, Holly Dauzat, Father Albi Moluth, Dr. James Bordelon, and to all the Allegiance nurses that helped take care of Emma during her time of sickness.
