Sometimes you get more than you bargained for, call it unintended consequences.
Case in point: Jackson Luke Dennis, 19, Pineville.
He was arrested October 25 after circumstances not yet divulged by authorities.
Allegedly having no vehicle insurance and obstruction by blocking the highway are minor details, not all that different from an arrest back in December.
It’s the add-ons that could pose problems for Dennis, who bonded out Wednesday.
One count of terrorism and two of car jacking raise the ante, so to speak.
In Louisiana terrorism is an alleged action with specific intent to intimidate or coerce the civilian population, or influence policy of a unit of government by intimidation or coercion, or affect conduct of a unit of government in the same manner.
Categories and penalties include killing, life imprisonment; bodily injury, 30 years; kidnapping, 10 years; aggravated arson, six to 40 years; aggravated criminal damage, one to 30 years.
