Funeral services for Joseph “Joe” Dyess, 56, will be held on Saturday, October 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Spring Ridge Church, 5200 Hwy 175, Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. A visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. A burial will follow the service at Spring Ridge Cemetery, 5209 Hwy 175, Pleasant Hill, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Brother Danny Williams and Brother Clayton Dyess.

Joe was born on October 6, 1970 to Charles Clayton Dyess and Vera Flores Dyess in Natchitoches, Louisiana and passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2026 in Marthaville, Louisiana.

Joe was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Emma Dyess; maternal grandparents, Joseph Brune and Thelma Flores; father, Charles Dyess, Sr.; and sons, Joseph Printtis Dyess, Jr. and Dwain Nettles.

He is survived by his mother, Vera Dyess of Marthaville, Louisiana, daughter, Haylie Dyess and significant other, Joshua Behan, of Many, Louisiana; brothers, Charles “Clayton” Dyess, Jr. of Marthaville, Louisiana and Lloyd Dyess and wife, Lisa, of Bunkie, Louisiana; sisters, Christine Strebeck and husband, Ricky, of Many, Louisiana and Valerie Gonzalez and husband, Gene, of New Llano, Louisiana; daughter-in-law and husband, Jacob, of Pineville, Louisiana; grandchildren, Zane Behan, Kambriella Behan, Joshua Nettles and Tytus Nettles; 10 very special nieces; 10 very special nephews; and a host of great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends.

Services and care were provided to the family by Kilpatrick’s Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Many, Louisiana.
