Mr. Howard Clinton Dennis, age 68, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 25, 2026, in LaSalle Parish.

The Visitation for Mr. Howard will be held on Friday, October 30, 2026, at HIS Church in Pineville from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Services will begin at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Steve Speer officiating.

Mr. Howard was a friendly man who never met a stranger. He enjoyed American War History and seemed to be able to have a story for every occasion. Mr. Howard like riding motorcycles, tinkering with old cars, hunting, and fishing. His personality was larger than life, and the impact he left will be felt for generations.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Dennis and Betty Roach Dennis; sister, Wynona Dennis; mentor and friends, Pete and Nikki Van Veckhoven.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Tiffany Bivins (Chris), Cody Dennis (Heather), Harley Steele, Joseph Smith (Madison), Waylon Dennis (Ally), Martin Dennis, Myla and Betty Jo Dennis; brothers, William Dennis (Sherry), Vincent Dennis (Phyllis), Doug Dennis, and Carl Dennis (Lisa); and grandchildren, Rhys Dennis, Elizabeth Bivins, Hannah Dennis, Patience Dennis, Donnie Smith, Grayson Smith, LoraMae King, Holden Dennis, Clarabelle Dennis, and Rynlee Dennis.

Pallbearers honored to serve are, Joseph Smith, Waylon Dennis, Martin Dennis, Cody Dennis, William Dennis, and Jacob Hoover. Honorary Pallbearers are Joel Hoover, Donny Ray Smith, Grayson Smith, Holden Dennis, Jason Wilson.
