The Louisiana Christian University football team continues its rise to new heights in the NAIA rankings.

The Wildcats (7-1, 5-0 SAC), on a four-game win streak, rose a spot to No. 14 in the NAIA Coaches Top 25 while clocking in two spots higher at 12th in the Victory Sports Network Media Top 25.  LCU was also moved up one slot to 13th in the NAIAFBALL Media Top 25.

The new rankings give Louisiana Christian its best national standings in program history. It is the second consecutive week of landmark rankings, improving over a week ago when both the coaches and media made the Wildcats a top 15 team for the first time when they were ranked No. 15 in the NAIA Coaches Poll, 14th in the VSN Media Poll  and No. 14 in the first-year NAIAFBALL Media Top 25.

LCU is coming off a 31-23 win at Nelson on Saturday. The Wildcats have won eight straight in Sooner Athletic Conference play, dating back to last season, when they finished as tri-champions but did not advance to the NAIA postseason.

This is the final NAIA Top 25 Coaches Poll of the season. Starting next week, the NAIA Top 25 rankings will be done by the National Selection Committee.

The Wildcats look to keep the good times rolling this Saturday in Tyler, Texas as LCU takes on winless Texas College.
