The Arc of Rapides celebrated several individuals and members of the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office who were recognized during The Arc of Louisiana’s Annual Awards Ceremony and Luncheon on Friday, October 16.

The ceremony honored individuals and volunteers for their dedication, compassion and contributions to participants and the community.

Among those recognized was Mary Deselle, who received the DSW of the Year Award.

Bobbi Langston was honored with the Recreation Award for her contributions.

Officers with the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office (RPSO) were also recognized as Volunteers of the Year for their continued involvement and support of The Arc of Rapides participants throughout the year.

Representatives of The Arc of Rapides attended the ceremony and expressed appreciation for the award recipients and their commitment to serving others.
