Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Murray Guice will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville. Interment will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Guice, 73, of Lena, entered eternal rest on Friday, October 16, 2026, in her residence surrounded by her loving family.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who cherished her family above all else. An avid reader, she found joy in the pages of a good book and treasured the time she spent with those she loved. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering love for her family will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Melody Rachal; her parents, Dewey and Mary Murray; three brothers, Dewey Ray Murray, Almond Monroe Murray, and Tony Wayne Murray; and four sisters, Bertha M. Edwards, Lucy Murphy, Mary Guin, and Elsie Tyler.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one daughter, Melloine Rachal of Lena; one grandson, Joseph Anthony DeSoto, Jr. of Leesville; one granddaughter, Heather Ann Page of Lena; one sister, Patricia Edmondson of Texas; and eight great grandchildren.

A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
