Holy Savior Menard High School will honor its 2026 Distinguished Alumni at its October 23 football game against Port Barre.
The woman and four men were selected on the basis of achievements in various fields of excellence or for major contributions to society or military service.
They are the third group of Holy Savior Menard, Menard Memorial and Providence Central graduates to be honored. The latter two were merged in the late 1960s to form the current school.

- Josh Johnson, class of 2008, standup comedian and writer, best known for work on The Daily Show and as one of its rotation of weekly hosts;
- Sister Ann Petrus, class of 1960, longtime math professor at Our Lady of Lake University in San Antonio, seven years as Superior General of Congregation of Divine Providence (her brother Timothy was recognized last year);
- Jacques Roy, class of 1988, attorney in third term (non-consecutive) as Alexandria mayor;
- Sydney L. Tassin, class of 1974, founder and president of Carter Energy, former Chief Financial Officer MESA Inc. (Boone Pickens’ oil and gas enterprise).
