Funeral services for Mrs. Shirley Ann Aucoin will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 21, 2026, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, with Reverend Don Wayne Duplechian officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Gardens, Pollock, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.

Mrs. Aucoin, 89, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, LA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Minus and Myrtle Aucoin; one brother, Quinton Ralph Aucoin; one sister, Joyce Inell Aucoin Cole; two grand paw babies, Cloe and Cassidy; and one niece.

Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Donna Jean Darbonne and Carla Deniese Ouber; one grandson, Jason Jean Diamond; two sisters, Judy Jo Aucoin and Diane Trevino (Al); one sister-in-law, Laura Gardner Aucoin; two nieces; two nephews; one grand paw baby, Tinkerbell; and friends and church members.
