Several hundred new and continuing LSUA students gathered for a good time on the LSUA Quad on Sept. 17. Tank Fest, in its seventh year, is sponsored by LSUA’s Student Life Office and is named after the college’s iconic M60 tank, one of the state’s, if not the nation’s, more unique college landmarks.

The Kelli Robert’s Band kept the fun going with their high energy repertory. In addition to listening and dancing, students enjoyed facepainting, glitter, and savory fare from several food trucks. Tank Fest is just one of many events sponsored by the Office of Student Life at LSUA with the purpose of making new students feel at home and having a good time while doing so.
