The City of Alexandria celebrated the completion of renovations at Frank O. Hunter Park with a ribbon cutting.

The improvements are part of the REIGNITE park renovation project, an ongoing effort to invest in Alexandria’s neighborhood parks and create updated spaces for families, friends and neighbors to enjoy.

At Frank O. Hunter Park, the renovations include more than 3,000 square feet of poured-in-place rubber safety surfacing for a safer, more durable and ADA-accessible play environment, along with approximately 4,600 square feet of new concrete sidewalks to improve accessibility and circulation throughout the playground area.
