The City of Alexandria is helping eligible homeowners take the next step toward needed roof repairs.

The 2026 Roof Repair Assistance Application Event is being held Wednesday, September 2, through Friday, September 4, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Bolton Community Center. Representatives will be available on site to assist residents with the application process.

Applicants should bring a valid ID and proof of income for the previous six months. To qualify, applicants must live within Alexandria city limits and have owned and occupied the home for at least one year. Mobile homes and trailers are not eligible.

The household income limits are:

1 person: $46,400
2 persons: $53,000
3 persons: $59,650
4 persons: $66,250
5 persons: $71,550
6 persons: $76,850
7 persons: $82,150
8 persons: $87,450

The event is being held at Bolton Community Center, 315 Bolton Avenue, Alexandria.
