The Alexandria Police Department is welcoming Police Officer Elliott Fruge Jr. to the department.

Officer Fruge joins APD as a P.O.S.T. certified officer and follows in the footsteps of his father, Sgt. Elliott Fruge, who also serves with the department.

The department said it is proud to welcome another experienced officer to the team and is especially glad to see a new generation of the Fruge family continuing the commitment to serve the community.
