The Pineville Police Department is celebrating Assistant Chief Salmon and his 42 years of service.

After 42 years, Salmon continues to attend training, remains an active firearms instructor, serves on the department’s Honor Guard and can still be found on calls when needed.

The department recognized his dedication, experience and willingness to continue learning and serving as an example of leading by example.

The Pineville Police Department congratulated Salmon on 42 years of service and thanked him for his commitment to the department and for continuing to set the standard for those who follow.
