The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (DOTD) advises the public that, weather permitting, on Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 8:30 a.m., construction work will begin at the following intersections:
- 3rd St. (LA 1) and Broadway St.
- LA 28 West and Vandenburg Dr. (LA 3054)
- MacArthur Dr. (US 71) and MacArthur Dr. near Stimson Ave.
The work is expected to last three days, with lane closures in effect daily from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
There are no detours at this time associated with these lane closures.
DOTD appreciates the public’s patience and reminds motorists to drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
