The Pineville Lions Club held its annual club awards banquet, recognizing members with pens, certificates, gifts and awards.
Awards presented included Lion of the Year to Sebastian Renfrow, Key Members of the Year to The Kerry’s, Ambassador of the Year to Shelli White, Presidents Helper to JoAnn Eznack, and VP Excellence to Hershal Paul.
Renfrow was noted as the first Lion to receive the Lion of the Year award by a majority vote of the club during their first year of membership.
Special guests included members of Lion Sebastian’s family, Alexandria Lion and Pineville honorary member Bob Hollingsworth, Lion District Governor Susan Ballard, and Louisiana Lions Camp Director Ray Cecil.
Lions Tom and Marc presented the pens and awards. Lion Vice President Ursula Dewalt led the meeting, while Lion Elaine and others decorated. Lions Ursula and Marc provided snacks and drinks.
The club said the meeting showcased its continued success and growth.
