Rapides Parish Fire District No. 3 in Pineville has taken delivery of a new custom pumper from US Fire Apparatus.

According to US Fire Apparatus, the custom pumper features a US Fire Apparatus custom chassis, an L9 450-horsepower engine, an Allison 3000EVS automatic transmission, a 50-gallon fuel tank, a Hale QMax 1,500-gallon-per-minute pump, a 1,000-gallon water tank and a 3/16-inch heavy-duty extruded aluminum body.

US Fire Apparatus thanked Chief David Corley and Rapides Parish Fire District No. 3 for choosing the company and expressed appreciation for the partnership.
