
Rapides Regional Medical Center is celebrating the retirement of Chuck Butterfield after more than four decades of service.
According to the medical center, Butterfield served 36 official years at Rapides Regional, beginning as a nursing assistant in 1983. He later became a Post Anesthesia Care Unit nurse in 1990, helped implement the hospital’s computerized medical record system and concluded his career as Director of Safety & Security and Emergency Preparedness.
Rapides Regional Medical Center recognized Butterfield for his dedication, leadership and commitment to excellence, thanking him for his lasting impact on patients, colleagues and the community while wishing him well in retirement.
