Pineville Junior High School welcomed Gracelyn Jones to the school family as its new eighth grade math teacher.

Jones is a graduate of Louisiana State University at Alexandria, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with a minor in Psychology. While at LSUA, she also competed as a collegiate basketball player, demonstrating dedication, teamwork and perseverance.

Outside of school, Jones enjoys spending time with her family and friends, growing in her faith and spending time with her dog.

When asked what she is most excited about, Jones said, “I’m excited for the opportunity to meet my students, get to know each of them, and help them grow both academically and personally throughout the school year!”

Pineville Junior High said it is excited to have Jones join its team and looks forward to the positive impact she will make on students and the school community.
