Rapides Regional Medical Center Infectious Disease Pharmacist Jordan Alexander, PharmD, has been named the 2026 Hospital Pharmacist of the Year by the Louisiana Pharmacists Association.

The award is presented annually to a hospital-based pharmacist who has compiled an outstanding record that reflects positively on the practice of pharmacy, including successful accreditation by government regulatory agencies, involvement in quality improvement initiatives and promotion of pharmacist-driven clinical services. Recipients also exemplify high professional standards and make significant contributions to their practice setting and the profession of pharmacy.

Alexander was recognized during the Louisiana Pharmacists Association’s annual convention held in Bossier City in mid-July.
