The Rotary Club of Pineville sponsored four students from local high schools to attend this year’s Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) at the OWL Wilderness Learning Center in Dubach.

During a recent meeting, Ella Cintron and Emmalin McCoy shared highlights from their RYLA experience, discussing the leadership skills they developed, the friendships they formed and the lessons they learned to help navigate real-world challenges.

The club recognized all four students for representing their community and Rotary and expressed its anticipation of seeing how the experience inspires them to grow as future leaders and make a positive impact in their schools and communities.

The Rotary Club also welcomed Samantha Stanley and Bulletproof Outfitters Cenla owners Daniel and Brandy Hearnsberger during the meeting. The club thanked them for visiting and said it hopes to see them again soon.
