Remembering Cory Morace

A Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Mr. Cory Morace will be held at 11:00AM on Monday, July 13, 2026 at St. John The Baptist Catholic Church, Deville, with Father Albi Mulloth officiating followed by interment in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday, July 12, 2026, from 5:00-9:00PM in the chapel of Fall Creek Funeral Home, 1800 Military Hwy., Pineville.

Mr. Cory Shane Morace, age 35, of Deville, passed away unexpectedly in Colorado Springs, Colorado on June 28, 2026.

A beloved son, father, brother, uncle, and friend, Cory was a man of truth whose word meant everything and who carried a heart of gold. He was a hard worker through and through, making his living in the oil field and as a truck driver, never shying away from long hours or hard work. What he loved above all were his children who were his pride and joy and his reason for everything.

Cory loved his family and friends fiercely. He loved to spend time at the camp with his Uncle Darnell and Uncle Chad, where he found peace because he loved nature and made cherished memories that will be held close forever.He also loved playing guitar with Terence Lachney, hunting, fishing, riding horses, and riding in the swamp with his brother, Trey and their friends. He will be remembered for his loyalty, his big heart, his quick humor, and his honest spirit that never pretended to be anything other than what it was.

He is preceded in death by his father, Michael Shane Morace; his paternal grandparents, Sharon Kaye Hayes Flemming and Ollie Flemming; his maternal grandparents, Lester Edward Deville and Rosalie Ebey Deville

Those left to cherish his memory are loving and devoted mother, Monica Deville (Robert) of Cross Roads, Texas; his sons, Aiden Shane Morace of Montgomery, LA., Gabriel Matthew Morace of Pineville, LA. Able Harmson of Pineville, LA.: his daughters, Kathryn Kaye Marie Morace, Rosalie Marie Morace both of Ball, LA., Serenity Faith Mae Morace of Pineville, LA.; his loving brother, Michael Trey Morace (Amanda) of Pineville, La.; his nephews, Christian Morace, James Morace, Samuel Morace; his nieces, Kirstyn Rayne Morace and numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Pallbearers honored to serve will be Trey Morace, Christian Morace, Gabriel Morace, Chase Dauzat, Caleb Walker, and Terence Lachney. Honorary pallbearers will be Aiden Morace, Samuel Morace, James Morace and Able Harmson.

Arrangements have been placed in the care of Fall Creek Funeral Home, Pineville, Robbie Dauzat, Director.
