Alexandria Senior High School has named Brittany Lopez as its Lead Teacher for the 2026-27 school year.

Lopez has served as a social studies teacher at ASH for the past six years and also serves as the school’s Student Council sponsor.

During her time at Alexandria Senior High, Lopez was named the school’s Teacher of the Year for the 2024-25 school year, the 2025 Kiwanis Club of Alexandria Teacher of the Year and the 2026 Rapides Parish High School Teacher of the Year.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education – Social Studies from Northwestern State University and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership from LSU Shreveport.
