Mayor Joseph “Joe” Bishop and members of the Pineville City Council have officially been sworn in to begin a new term serving the City of Pineville.

Joining Mayor Bishop in taking the oath of office were District 1 Councilman Greg Aaron, District 2 Councilman Kevin Dorn, District 3 Councilman Hugh Halle, District 4 Councilman John Marcase and District 5 Councilman Mark A. Mertens.

The swearing-in ceremony marks the beginning of a new term for the city’s elected leadership.

Community leaders and organizations offered congratulations and best wishes to Mayor Bishop and the council members, thanking them for their willingness to serve the Pineville community.

The Chamber also congratulated the newly inaugurated officials and said it looks forward to a term of continued growth and prosperity for the City of Pineville and its citizens.
