CENLA Pride walk held Saturday

The Central Louisiana AIDS Support Services (CLASS), Healthy Living for All organization sponsored the 12th annual CENLA Pride Walk Saturday, June 6.

Saturday saw a crowd of around one hundred people participate in the Pride Walk starting at Tamp and Grind coffee shop and ending at Alexandria’s City Hall. After the march, attendees enjoyed an expo with food trucks, and an eclectic variety of vendors and entertainment.

CLASS Healthy Living for All primarily serves the area of the Louisiana Department of Health’s Region VI: Avoyelles, Catahoula, Concordia, Grant, LaSalle, Rapides, Vernon, and Winn Parishes. Their website sums up their mission. “Since incorporating in 1987, CLASS has worked tirelessly to ensure that all people have access to the resources and services which will help them to live healthier, more fulfilling lives.”
